36th INTERNATIONAL GEOLOGICAL CONGRESS HAS PROPOSED NEW DATES

The 36th IGC has proposed new dates of the congress from 9th -14th November, 2020 (subject to approval of IUGS) at the same venue to ensure that you could keep your registration/ accommodation/ GeoExpo open and valid for these new dates. However, if you are unable to participate on the new dates 36 IGC will evolve a strategy to minimize your financial losses.

As you know that the postponement of the dates of the 36th IGC (due to Corona Virus outbreak), which was to be held in Delhi, India from 2nd – 8th March, 2020.

36 IGC is conducting a snap survey through E-mail to find out how many of you will attend the 36th IGC on the new dates. I am sharing snapshots of survey.



The 36th IGC is working towards developing a favorable policy to be issued on reimbursement/ refund for air fare/ hotel accommodation/ field trips/congress registration/ GeoExpo or extension of the validity of these bookings for new dates, as per the options chosen by the delegates. ISRO - YUVIKA  Young Scientist Programme 2020 for school students The online registration and submission of completed signed applications have been extended up to 5 th March 2020 Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for School Children called “ Young Scientist Programme” “ YUva VIgyani KAryakram”  ( युविका )  from the year 2019.
