Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya Eighth convocation held on 4 March 2020

About MGCGV: Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidhyalaya was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh through legislature by an Act(9, 1991) on February 12, 1991. The University is located on the bank of Holy River Mandakni near Sphatikshila at Chitrakoot District Satna (M.P).

In the Eighth Convocation of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, his Excellency The Governor and Chancellor of the State Shri Lalji Tandon gave away Gold medals to 42 Students, Ph.D. Degrees to 121 researchers and Degrees to under-graduate/Post graduate students.

His Excellency The Governor Shri Lalji Tandon came here to preside over the convocation ceremony 2020. Earler, he also chaired the meeting of the Gramodaya University management board. The Convocation inauguration started by Padmashree Prof. Virendra Singh Chauhan, Chairman National Accreditation and Evaluation Council Bangalore. The Convocation was administered to the Degree holder by Vice Chancellor Prof. Naresh Chandra Gautam. Registrar Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chauhan conducted the Convocation. 

 On this occasion, Chancellor and his excellency Governor Shree Lalji Tandon said that after getting the Degrees, the youth tries to walk on a new path. He wishes that he gets respects, honor, position, prestige and money in this new way with full self respect. It's good things. But all this can not be possible only with a job. I believe that the newly degree holders should use the knowledge, science and technology available to them in such a way that they can also participate in the Nav Nirman of the Country. He describing the knowledge of life philosophy of many great men of the country, he also said that great men and scholars have made the identity of the country in the world on the strength of the knowledge of India. 

 

 

 Governor Shree Lalji Tandon shared his association and experience with the work of Bharat Ratna Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh, he also said that Nanaji is the vision and founder of this University, he has maintained his ideology to connect people in his field of work by maintaining dialogue always tried. Along with this University, Nanaji has done innovative work Arogyadham, Ram darshan, elementary of higher education, rural development, water harvesting.

Distinguished guest Padma shree Prof. Virendra Singh Chauhan said in his convocation that the degree-makers should do their work with hard work, devotion and honesty. Every work done with honesty is capable of taking the country forward. Professor Chauhan said that it is better to imitate someone's work and that we should be effective in finding new techniques to do every work.Highlighting the life style of Swami Vivekananda, he said that we should read the great men properly and their work should follow. Professor Chauhan told many tricks of life's success. 

Vice Chancellor Prof. Naresh Chand Gautam while delivering the welcome address highlighted the functions and activities of the University. Prof. Gautam administered the oath to the new graduates and researchers. Earlier, his excellency the Governor laid the foundation stone of the men's hostel and the inaugurated the mobile soil testing laboratory and inaugurated the attractive photo exhibition organized by the students of B.F.A and M.F.A.
