The 36 th IGC has proposed new dates of the congress from 9 th -14 th November, 2020 (subject to approval of IUGS) at the same venue to ensure that you could keep your registration/ accommodation/ GeoExpo open and valid for these new dates. ISRO SATELLITE IMAGES PROCUREMENT/ORDER PROCESS National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the primary centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). NRSC  has the mandate for establishment of ground stations for receiving satellite data, generation of data products, dissemination to the users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for good governance and capacity building for professionals, faculty and students.  NRSC Data Centre (NDC) is a one of the Department of NRSC to sell High Resolution Satellite Images to users. NDC is located in Balanagar Hyderabad. NRSC data centre (NDC)is responsible for IRS data dissemination to Indian and SAARC-BIMSTEC country users. ISRO - YUVIKA  Young Scientist Programme 2020 for school students The online registration and submission of completed signed applications have been extended up to 5 th March 2020 Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for School Children called “ Young Scientist Programme” “ YUva VIgyani KAryakram”  ( युविका )  from the year 2019. The second session of the programme is scheduled to be held during the month of May 2020.    The programme will be of two weeks duration during summer holidays (May 11-22,  2020) and the schedule will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions. 3 students each from each State/ Union Territory will be selected to participate in this programme covering CBSE, ICSE and State syllabus. 5 additional seats are reserved for OCI candidates across the countr...
